What’s included in buffet-style catering?

Our standard buffet is a drop-off catering service. We deliver, set up your hot buffet with chafing dishes, serving utensils, and fuel, and return after your event to collect the equipment.

We charge a flat $100 setup fee and a $30 equipment pickup fee, in addition to your menu pricing. These cover the rental and setup of buffet equipment and professional presentation.

All salads, sides, and desserts are served family-style in proper serving dishes.

* If you prefer a simpler setup, we can provide your buffet hot and ready in disposable aluminum trays—this allows you to avoid the setup and pickup fees.

What’s the difference between drop-off and staffed buffet service?

Most of our buffet catering for offices and events is self-serve. Our team sets everything up so guests can help themselves with ease. This is the most efficient and cost-effective option for most Vancouver-area events.

However, for larger groups, formal presentations, or venue-specific needs, we also offer staffed buffet service. Our team can stay on-site to assist with service, portion control, presentation, and cleanup. Staffing is quoted separately based on your event size and duration.

Where do you deliver?

We provide buffet catering throughout Vancouver and the surrounding areas, including Burnaby, Richmond, New Westminster, and North Vancouver.

Vancouver delivery fee: $30 flat rate

Surrounding cities: $30 base + $0.40/km fuel surcharge

Why is there a fee for buffet setup and pickup?

Our $100 setup fee covers everything needed to present a hot buffet: chafing dishes, fuel, serving utensils, and the labor involved in transporting and setting up the equipment.

A $30 pickup fee covers the return trip to collect equipment after your event. These costs reflect the additional resources required to offer full-service buffet catering across Vancouver.

We’re committed to transparent pricing, so you know exactly what you’re paying for. You also have the option to skip these fees if you choose disposable tray service instead.

What rentals are available for buffet service?

We offer the following rental add-ons for your buffet setup:

Cutlery set (fork, knife, spoon): $4.00 per person

Dinner plates (flatware): $4.00 per person

Glassware (wine, water, cocktail): $3.00 per piece

Tablecloths: $25.00 each

All rentals are delivered clean and picked up post-event.

What’s the minimum group size for buffet catering?

Our buffet-style catering is optimally designed for groups of 30 or more guests. For smaller groups or more casual settings, consider our boxed lunch options or contact us for a customized solution.

Do you accommodate dietary restrictions?

Absolutely! We regularly provide vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and dairy-free options, and all dishes are clearly labeled. We’ll help you build a menu that works for everyone on your team or guest list.

How far in advance should I book?

To ensure availability, we recommend booking 7–10 business days in advance. Availability depends on your event date and guest count. If you have a last-minute request, contact us—we’ll do our best to accommodate you.
